Unfortunately 30.3% of children aged 2-15 years old are overweight or obese, and it’s estimated by 2050 a staggering 25% of children in the UK will be obese!
The benefits of exercise & physical activity for children are;

Laura Edwards is brought children’s fitness to The Venue in February 2013. This includes Cardiofit4kids which are fitness sessions aimed at 4 – 11 year old’s, these sessions include varied activities: KidsBootcamp, KiddieCircuits sometimes using equipment & Obstacle courses. The activities are aimed at having fun, encouraging social skills, working as a team and leadership skills too.
Class Times: Monday and Wednesday 3.45pm-4.30pm
Cost: £3 per child or £5 for two siblings (1x free child with full gym membership)
The other class Laura is offering is Bokwa, this class is aimed at families, so all Mums, Dads, Daughters & Sons are welcome. Bokwa is a cardio fitness workout , using popular music and drawing letters, numbers and shapes with your feet on the floor for example; L , C , J , B so EVERYONE can Bokwa!
